Metal Halide light bulbs are a type of high intensity discharge light. They are specialized for bright white illumination, typically used to light stadiums, construction sites, and parking lots. Because of how they operate, they generally require a warm-up period to reach full brightness.
GE's model 42068 light bulb uses 39W of power, with a brightness of 2100LM lumens. It fits a Medium (E26) base, and produces a soft white light.
